The old adage, You get what you pay for, doesn't apply to Arlington's newest downtown addition, the Levitt Pavilion. It opened October 10, 2008 and will have featured 16 different free events by the end of the month. Yes I said Free! So your thought processes are probably doing what mine did, "OK if the concerts are free they have to be no-name entry level artists, right? " Wrong! The array of artists on the schedule are top notch.

Our quaint little 1940's stone cottage that we painfully and endearingly renovated is on the market. This is a bitter sweet moment for us.
This home knew the pre-children Tim and Janna...in fact, it got a glimpse of the pre-marriage version. It is the place we brought two babies home from the hospital, it saw the passing of our great danes sweet old man Hayden and prima donna Ashland. This has been the place of first steps and the venue for many a casual get together and now it is time for us to move on. We will be leaving behind a box filled with memories, triumphs and love. - Why go back to Lubbock, haven't you heard that song about happiness and rearview mirrors?
- Why drive to a Grape Day when you live so close to Grapevine, TX which has an annual Grape fest?

This weekend I acid stained a friends concrete floors. He was all jazzed up about a stained concrete floor at this place called Snappy Salads. So Tim & I decided to go check out the floors and have lunch. The minute I walked in I knew this was my kind of place! In fact, I am shocked that I didn't already know about this place!

Welcome to my blog Metro Mommy
Many of you are probably wondering why I just took on a blog when it appears Tim & I have no free time. Recently, we woke up from a baby growing, toddler raising fog and realized it was time to get our lives back!
